About the Artist
Edinburgh born, I studied at Edinburgh Art College and Leith School of Art where I won a residency at Dumfries House in Ayrshire after a 2 year painting course. I also was awarded the John Busby course bursary which included spending time on Bass rock - a tiny island (volcanic plug) on the Firth of Forth surrounded by seabirds. The results of this time were exhibited at the Mall Galleries, London, with the Society of Wildlife Artists. I have also exhibited in other galleries in the UK and have sold art all over the world. I love how painting can make you feel so alive and ''in the moment'' and I am passionate about our landscape and its wildlife. I now live and paint in my Perthshire studio.
